To fall in love with: The Mahina Club Love Is Everywhere Edition
Share
Aloha dear Mahina Club member & everyone who still wants to become one.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Love Is Everywhere Edition came to your home in February with the delicate Ke Aloha Set. You can also find a pendant with this lettering on the chain of the set, but what does it mean? Ke'aloha translated from Hawaiian means something like: Love is everywhere. Hence the name of the edition.
I wanted to know more about how this pretty set came about and asked Alisa from our design team what's behind it.
"We were inspired, on the one hand, by the magical shimmer that surrounds Hawaii when the sun shines on the sea, which we captured in the form of the reflective chain type and the rhinestone. On the other hand, we wanted to capture the feeling of a sea breeze blowing gently over the skin in the form of the movable pendant for the design of the Mahina Club Edition in February. With the lettering "Ke'aloha", which means "love is everywhere", should always be able to carry the love and security of your loved ones close to you, no matter where they are."
With this background, I like the Ke Aloha set even better than before. Whether it's Valentine's Day or not, the Ke Aloha Set is a beautiful reminder all year round that love is all around you. You can also easily combine it with other favorite pieces and create new and individual styles. Feel free to tell us in the comments how you like the Ke Aloha Set and how you like to combine it.
Since today is Valentine's Day, I asked myself: How is Valentine's Day actually celebrated in Hawaii? Of course, some people celebrate it the classic way with a romantic dinner and roses, but Hawaii wouldn't be Hawaii if many Valentine's Day dates didn't take place in the water with a surfboard. Surfing into the sunset together sounds like an unforgettable date, right?
If you want to bring a little Hawaiian feeling to your home, why not wish your Valentine a happy Valentine's Day in Hawaiian. Since there is of course no word for Valentine's Day in the Hawaiian language, they wish each other hau'oli la aloha, a happy day of love. It is pronounced like this:
Hau’oli – how o lee
La – lah
Aloha – ah lo hah
How do you spend Valentine's Day? Or does this day not matter to you? We are looking forward to your comment and wish you & To your loved ones with all my heart hau'oli la aloha!
All the best,
Chiara

Wir lieben es am Valentinstag zusammen essen zu gehen :)
